Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 May 2026
todayXP is built on the principle that your score lives in your head, not on our servers. We collect as little data as possible.
What we collect
Nothing personally identifying. The app stores your XP entries (timestamps, +1/-1, optional notes) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and an App Group container shared between the app and its widget.
What we send to our servers
Nothing. todayXP does not communicate with any server we own. There is no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no crash reporting service.
iCloud sync (when you sign in)
If you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google in a future version, your XP data may be synced to your personal iCloud account or via Firebase. In that case:
- Apple Sign in: data lives in your iCloud, accessible only by you.
- Google Sign in: only your email (used as an account identifier) and your XP entries are stored, encrypted at rest in Google Firebase (Frankfurt EU region).
- You can request deletion at any time by emailing support (see Support page).
In the current version of todayXP, no cloud sync is active and all data stays on your device.
In-app purchases
todayXP Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see your credit card or billing information.
Third-party services
Currently none. If we add Firebase, Sign in with Apple/Google, or any analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.
Children
todayXP is rated 4+. It does not require an account and collects no personally identifiable information. Parents may safely allow children to use it.
Your rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Currently we hold no personal data. If this changes (after Firebase integration), you may exercise these rights by contacting us via the Support page.
